TechCrunch President Primaries

"TechCrunch wants to provide a voice for digital policy and technology issues in the upcoming U.S. Presidential election, and so we've decided to hold our own political primaries online. Voting will be open from Tuesday, December 18 through midnight pst Friday, January 18. TechCrunch will endorse one candidate from each the Democratic and Republican party as the "Tech President" candidate based on the popular results of reader voting and blog input from our community of technology leaders and entrepreneurs."

If you are unaware of John's stances on technology based issues, TechCrunch has done your homework for you! Click here to read on issues such as net neutrality, taxes/Internet taxes, digital divide, mobile spectrum auction, and renewable energy.

Current Results:
Barack Obama 54% 3113
Dennis Kucinich 26% 1533
John Edwards 8% 479

This is definitely unacceptable. Look how active we are on the Internet to get John's voice heard. If any one candidate deserves a net-backing, it is definitely John Edwards. Barack Obama doesn't need another endorsement. I think we can all agree he gets quite enough attention as is.... and I am a firm believer it isn't because he has the superior view on issues but rather he is a great speaker. I have respect for Dennis Kucinich as he too has been dealt with mainstream media blackouts as well. What are you waiting for? Vote for John Edwards at TechCrunch!
